I love traveling through Columbus/Starkville on my way to or from the home of the Mississippi Delta, where I was born and raised, home to or from Georgia. WACR keeps me company as I am driving along, and takes to a very special place in my memory, and even maybe in the world, that is like no other!!! I arriving home last night here in Georgia, I went online to see if I could find a particular artist, and became quite thrilled that there was a website that might afford possible streaming or listening! Unfortunately, I was unable to access the site on both my notebook and pad. Can you let me know perhaps if the site for WACR is a functioning properly, or what I might need to do to access the site? Also, there is an artist that sings of “Mississippi Delta on Friday Nights….drinking that corn liquor….” . I have attempted to “google the lyrics, but have been unsuccessful in identifying the artist. Can you tell me who he is? Thanks for your station, and the hospitality as I enter my home state from time to time, welcomed with the sounds of my soulful heritage!

      Hi Craig,

First let me start by saying “Thank You for the station compliment and for being an avid listener.” There’s nothing better than cruising to southernsoul music while you travel. The song you are inquiring about is by Theodis Ealey and its titled “Mississippi Delta.” Keep listening to WACR 105.3 in your travels!

      Thank you,

Just taking time to say hello to the staff. A big hello to homeboy Greg McMichaels from Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Thank you for being the best station on the air. I never change my dial! I can’t get enough of the music that Greg McMichaels plays. Sometimes it seems that he reads my heart and knows exactly what I need to hear and when I need to hear it. Please keep up the good work. I do hate that you took the “Steve Harvey Morning Show” off though. His crew used to brighten up my morning ride.

    Hello,

Thanks for being the best radio station in Mississippi! I would like to get in contact with Greg McMichaels. He is an old friend that I listen to everyday faithfully… even though it’s been a while since we seen or spoke with each other. Any info would be greatly appreciated
